Hi People.
After leaving Hilstone Road in 1961, I had the opportunity to visit the school today (13th June 2005). Firts time in 45 years! I was amazed at how well the school is doing now. You guys don't know how lucky you are to have such beautiful grounds, buildings which have stood the test of time and more importantly a modern dedicated team of staff, which must be the envy of other local schools.
What a feeling it gave me to see all those smiling young faces going about their daily life.
Remember you are our future! Work hard, the world is at your feet. Look after this old school well and you will be able to visit it in 45 years!!!!

Well, I have finally managed to have a look at the site and WOW! its fab. Loads of folks at BGFL plus training ( and they were all head teachers and deputy's) commented on the quality of our web site which I think is praise indeed. We are regarded with envious eyes!
